Monster Sized Mess

Hello Everyone, I am back from our break away and in my craft space 😃 So I decided to work on the projects for the Bugaboo Birthday Celebrations because I didn't have supplies with me that I could work on them. So this card is suited to Day 1 which is

I don't actually have any of their monster images even though they are really cute. I also don't have anyone who would be suited  to these images so I used a favourite Bugaboo image of mine. It is Scene it - Birthday Bears and it is still available. And this is the card that I made

I think that this image still fits the theme because these cute bears have definitely made a monster sized mess. Though I think that they have a lot of fun in creating it.😉 And of course you know that this card was helped along by a sketch - this time around I have made another card for the Stella Says Sketch challenge which is this one

You can see that this time I have tipped the sketch on its side. I had such fun making this card and I want to thank you for stopping by. Before you go I would like to leave you with this thought

This is something that I am going to try to do more of this year. I want to be able to walk through what is ahead knowing that God walks with me.

Sympathy Hard to Craft

Hello Everyone,
The kind of card I am sharing with you today is on a subject that we all find hard to make for. Sympathy cards are hard to make for because I think that we don't want to get it wrong. But this occasion is just a part of our lives. All of us will eventually go through it - but the cards we make are for those left behind. I don't like making these but I do need them so I am going to make them while I don't need them so I am not having to make it when I do need one.

This card is made with an older image from Bugaboo Stamps but I still love using it for all different kinds of occasions. This time I coloured it in with my Polychromos pencils. I definitely need more practice using these. The digi image was printed with the plaid paper behind it. The way I put this card together came about by my use of a sketch this time it's from Stella Say Sketch Challenge.

This is the first sketch for the year from this challenge site. The papers are from a Kasiercraft paper pad called 'Sweet Pea'. All of my matting is done with some Sunshine Yellow paper. My sentiment comes from Uniquely Creatives Banner Sentiment Builder clear stamp set. I like this set as its quite useful for many different occasions.

Thanks for coming by to look at my project please consider leaving a comment before you leave to let me know that you have stopped on by. And also before you go I would love to leave you with this final thought

Thinking about the end of life makes me consider what I will be leaving behind when I do go. Is what I am going to leave how I want to be remembered? Some things yes other things not so much. So I am working on changing the things I'm not so happy with. What about you - will you be remembered in the way you want to be?

Joy

Hello everyone,
I am back for a second card project for today. It's so good to be able to have some time in my craft space. But this happens when you don't have to do school runs and such 😉 And this is my card

I really had fun with this one and I think that I may redo this card a couple more times. The image is a digital stamp Christmas Word Joy from Bugaboo stamps. I use this image quite a lot because you can colour it to suit your papers, very handy that! And to start this card off came the sketch

And as I have been doing I have included the measurements to make a front for a A6 card. And also any mats are usually 0.5cm bigger.

The image I printed and coloured with my Copic markers and it is backed with a Christmas digital paper. Then I added this to a piece of shimmer Maroon paper and matted this with green paper. The poinsettia is a die cut that I had left over in my Christmas Stash.

Thanks for stopping by and looking at my project. To let me know that you stopped by please consider leaving a comment. And before you go I would like to leave you with this thought

This is something that I hope to be able to do more of while I am not running to different things over this Christmas/New Year break. I want to do more reading next year - that is a goal for me.
