52CCT Stash Challenge

Hello Everyone,
Today I am working with the team over at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown and it is week 4 of the month so we are up to our stash or technique challenge. And our hostess EK has gone with a stash challenge of

I am sure that we have a lot of printed papers in our stash just waiting for the "perfect" card to go onto. When I read this challenge I knew the card that I wanted to make and this is what I made
52CCT 04 2019 wk4 Stash

This card is actually made from scraps. I keep all of the large scraps from cutting 6X6 papers down to make cards and I use them to make cards like this. This quilt die really helps me to use up every scrap that I have and this way I get to showcase many different holiday papers.

Thanks for stopping in to look at my design team work for the 52 Christmas Card Throwdown Challenge. I hope that you will come over and play along with our latest challenge.

Until Next Time,Tracy B

52CCT April Colour Challenge

Hello Everyone,
And today being week 2 of April we have a Colour Challenge brought to us by EK and for her colour choices for us to play along with we have

When this was first announced I must say that it took me a while to decide on the metallic to use and the colour to go along with it. But finally the choice was made for me by the design of the card that I made

This combination of embossing folder, rectangle die and scene die made my choices for me. Because it is such a regal scene I went with a regal combination of colours. Or at least to me they are. But I did notice that once I was putting the whole card together that I didn't quite centre up the scene in the cut window.

Thanks for stopping by and looking at my Design Team creation. I hope that we will see you over at the 52 Christmas Card Throwdown Challenge Blog and come play along with us.

Until Next Time,
Tracy B

52 CCT April Sketch Challenge

Hello Everyone,
I am here to share with you this months sketch bought to us by hostess Netta and this is the sketch that she has given us to play around with.

Even though it is drawn as one colour I decided to do a ray design with the bottom of the design. So by going down this road I actually made 2 cards at the same time and here they are

and a close up of both

I didn't follow the sketch exactly as you can see I didn't use a circle for my image. But I have been trying to use up some images that I found waiting to be put onto cards. But you can see how I was able to make 2 cards at the same time because I used alternate papers across the ray design.

Thanks for looking at my Design Team Project. I hope that you will come on over and play along with us at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown Challenge.

Until Next Time,
Tracy B
