Crafty Stash Used

Hello everyone,
As I mentioned in my previous post, while I was creating that first card, I made a 2nd card using the off-cuts from it. Being able to make a 2nd card easily is something that I look to do as I already have the supplies out and doesn't take much more time because you already know how it is all going to come together.

I will be again entering this card into the 2 challenges of Try A Sketch on Tuesday #692 and Double Trouble Challenge of Some Thing, Any Thing, Every Thing.

The supplies that I used is the Kasiercraft older patterned paper pad called Everlasting. Some dark green and white cardstocks, and a glitter succulent dimensional sticker. Again, my photo hasn't shown up, my gold thinking of you sentiment.

Thanks for stopping in and looking at my 2nd card using these 2 challenges.

Until my next post,

Using My Stash

Hello everyone,
I am taking a break from shifting things around in my craft space and decided to make some cards and maybe do a little crochet later. For my cards, I decided to check out 2 of my favourite challenges to see what inspiration they might offer.

There was a wonderful sketch on the Try a Sketch on Tuesday site, then Double Trouble is having a Some Thing, Any Thing, Every Thing challenge. So I decided to pull these challenges together and made 2 cards. From my stash I pulled an older Kasiercraft patterned paper pad. This one is called Everlasting; I think it was designed for wedding, engagement, or anniversary cards. But I have made 2 all occasion cards.

So, to pull the ingredients together for the Double Trouble challenge, I have used the following: 3 patterned papers, 2 different-coloured mats, and 1 glittered succulent image. For some reason, my photo doesn't show my sentiment that well.

It was fun pulling these elements to create some cards. Thanks for stopping by and seeing my creations using these challenges.

Until my next post,

Handmade Craftiness

Hello everyone,
I am sharing my creation using sketch #675 from Michelle at the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.

This sketch is a great one for using up our strip scraps from cutting all of our other elements for other cards. I have finished off the bottom differently from Michelle's sketch, but you can see where I started this creation.

The papers I have used are from an older Kasiercraft patterned paper pad that I started when I purchased it, but never got around to finishing. My goal is to finish as many of my partially started pads as possible by the end of this year. They are taking over my craft space, and I want to either use them or donate them to my local kindergarten so they can have fun with them.

Thanks for stopping by and seeing what I did with sketch #675 from Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge. Also, thank you to those who have stopped by from my old blog on WordPress. This is where I will be blogging from now on.

Until my next post,
